These are scripts such as php, asp, perl or miva which run on the web server to generate pages with dynamic content usually from a database. For these to work the hosting package must include support for the required script method. We specialise in using php and miva which are ideally suited to quickly developing dynamic pages.
Browser
There are a processes that can run in the browser such as flash, java applets, activeX controls and Javascript. These can do an enormous variety of things such as rollover images, make text popup or move around, open/close browser windows etc.
While Javascript can be used to create good effects it should not be used for anything critical to the operation of the site as it does not work in the same way in all browsers or the user may have it disabled.
